Malaysian Industry Government-Group for High Technology (MIGHT)
ZAKWAN ZABIDI is currently a Senior Vice President with Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), a National Public-Private Sector Partnership under the Prime Minister’s Department which was involved in developing high technology industries for Malaysia. At MIGHT, he leads the industry development initiatives to navigate change moving towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He is also currently spearheading the mobilisation of the New National Car Project that will help spur development and build the nation.
He brings together the consolidated skills and knowledge acquired over 20 years of different management roles and involved on wide range of programs and initiatives which includes National Blueprints and Roadmaps, Innovation Model and Framework, Policy and Strategy Development, Foresight and Technology Audit and Business Strategy Development.
He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration majoring in Transport from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and undertook further studies in MBA at University of Salford, UK. He is also currently a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in United Kingdom, which was established to promote the study and advancement of the science and art of logistics and transport.
