Amanda Chua is a HR business partner for the tax practice at PwC Malaysia. She works closely with senior stakeholders in the tax practice to drive the firm’s people strategy around human resources management and organisational changes. Amanda leads a team that acts as the business’ central point of contact in support of multiple HR functional areas.


Prior to joining PwC, Amanda was in a social enterprise where she developed leaders in organisations through long term partnerships and growth plans to accelerate leadership capabilities. She was previously in a professional services organisation where she specialised in Change Management and Training & Development. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of South Australia.


She recently completed her Masters of Applied Psychology in Coaching as part of her development goal to be a key enabler for change and growth. She has been featured in both print media and radio, sharing her views on leadership, employee engagement, culture, coaching and development. Outside work, her passions are in creative arts, nature, health and fitness. One of her most memorable moments was hiking up Mount Rinjani in 2017.
